Amara’s Story:
Amara is a joyful, determined little girl who lights up every room with her infectious smile and resilient spirit. She loves music, being around her family and friends, and celebrating every hard-earned milestone. Although everyday tasks that many children take for granted are challenging for Amara, she approaches life with courage and unwavering determination.
At just a few months old, Amara‘s family noticed she wasn’t meeting developmental milestones. After a long search for answers, genetic testing revealed she has HNRNPH2-related neurodevelopmental disorder, an ultra-rare condition affecting only 222 people worldwide as of July 2026. The disorder impacts her ability to walk, learn, communicate, and develop independently. Through hundreds of hours of therapy, relentless advocacy, and the hope made possible through n-Lorem’s ASO program, Amara‘s family believes the future can be different — not only for her, but for every child living with HNRNPH2. Every step she takes is a reminder that hope is stronger than fear.
